The Kaduna State Government has announced that more than 140 road projects currently underway across the state will be completed as part of efforts to improve infrastructure, ease transportation and boost economic activities.
This was disclosed on Saturday in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja by the Managing Director of the Kaduna Roads Agency, Dr Abdullahi Baba Ahmed.
The announcement came as the agency unveiled its second documentary titled Roads of Legacy Governor Uba Sani Reconnects Kaduna. The documentary highlights several ongoing and completed road infrastructure projects carried out under the administration of Uba Sani.
According to Baba Ahmed, the projects demonstrate the government’s commitment to improving connectivity and strengthening economic activities across communities in Kaduna State.
He explained that the roads represent a significant development drive that is already transforming transportation and trade within the state.
“Today these roads tell a powerful story across Kaduna State projects started completed and delivered under one administration leaving behind a legacy of connectivity growth and visible development,” the statement said.
The agency revealed that more than 140 road projects covering about 1335 kilometres are currently ongoing across the state with nearly 60 percent already completed.
Baba Ahmed noted that the first documentary released in December 2025 captured about 700 kilometres of road projects already delivered across various communities in the state.
He added that strategic road corridors across different regions including Zaria Kaduna North and Southern Kaduna have been initiated and executed under Governor Sani’s leadership to reconnect communities and encourage economic growth.
According to him the newly constructed and rehabilitated roads are helping to ease movement support local businesses and improve access to several previously difficult to reach communities.
Some of the major projects highlighted in the documentary include the Magajiya Amaru Unguwan Liman Road Audi Kako Road Tudun Biri Road Durum Kurumtumawa Road Pambegua Kauru Road Gadar Gayan Kujama Junction Road and the Madauchi Madakiya Kafanchan Road.
