India and UAE Announce Supercomputing Cluster Collaboration

India and the United Arab Emirates have announced a new collaboration to establish a supercomputing cluster aimed at advancing research, data analysis and digital innovation. The initiative was unveiled today during high level discussions between officials from both countries, highlighting shared goals in technology development and scientific competitiveness.

The planned supercomputing cluster will support projects in areas such as climate modelling, artificial intelligence, genomics and advanced engineering. Officials said the partnership reflects growing strategic cooperation in technology and research between India and the UAE, and is expected to benefit universities research institutions and private sector innovators in both nations.

Experts said expanded access to supercomputing power can accelerate scientific discovery and support solutions to complex challenges such as pandemic response agricultural productivity and energy optimisation. The collaboration builds on existing ties between India and the UAE in areas such as space, digital trade and renewable energy.
