Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has underscored the pivotal of Erling Haaland in his team, particularly a challenging period for the reigning Premier League champions.

Haaland, who has scored 15 goals across all competitions this season, has experienced a dip in recently. This has coincided with City’s poor of results, including losses to Tottenham Hotspur, , Lisbon, and Bournemouth, them eight points adrift of league leaders Liverpool.

After Erling, our next scorers are John [Stones], Josko [Gvardiol], and Kova [ Kovačić], which is not typical for us. We need to find ways to create more goal-scoring opportunities.”

Despite the dip in form, Guardiola remains confident in Haaland’s ability to to his prolific . “We are fortunate to have Erling; he consistently gets three or four opportunities each ,” he noted. “It’s only a matter of time before he scores two or three goals, as he has done previously.”
