Governor Uzodimma’s Appointment as Renewed Hope Ambassador Welcomed by South-East Leaders

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has received praise from South-East stakeholders following his appointment by President Bola Tinubu as the Renewed Hope Ambassador. The move is being described as a significant and timely step for both the region and the country.

The South-East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), through its National Coordinator, Belusochukwu Enwere, released a statement applauding the decision. According to the group, the appointment shows that President Tinubu trusts Uzodimma’s leadership, loyalty, and dedication to promoting national unity.

SERHA said the governor has played a key role in supporting inclusive governance and helping to strengthen national unity under the Renewed Hope agenda. Enwere added that Uzodimma’s new role would help improve grassroots participation, increase political awareness, and build more trust in government initiatives.

The group also praised Uzodimma’s leadership in Imo State, calling him a skilled strategist who has made progress in areas like infrastructure, security, and economic development. They believe these achievements show he is ready to take on broader national responsibilities.

SERHA noted that Uzodimma’s impact goes beyond his state, as he has become a strong voice for better political inclusion of the South-East in national affairs. Enwere said the appointment gives the region a better chance to push for fairness, development, and stronger representation in the country’s leadership.
