Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has reaffirmed that the upcoming Local Government Election, scheduled for October 5th, will proceed as planned. Despite concerns or potential challenges, the governor emphasized that there are no legal obstacles preventing the conduct of the election, and all preparations remain on track.
Governor Fubara urged political parties, candidates, and the electorate to engage enthusiastically in the democratic process.
