Four Killed in Georgia Shooting as Indian Mission Confirms Victim

our adults, including an Indian national, were killed in a shooting linked to a domestic dispute in the US state of Georgia, the Indian Mission in Atlanta confirmed on Friday.

Police said the suspect has been arrested and is in custody as investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities described the shooting as stemming from a family related dispute inside a residential home.

Law enforcement officials said three children were inside the house at the time of the shooting. The children reportedly hid in a closet during the incident and were not physically harmed.

In a statement, the Indian Mission in Atlanta expressed deep grief over the deaths and said it was extending all possible assistance to the bereaved family. Officials are in contact with local authorities to provide consular support and facilitate necessary arrangements.

Police have not released further details about the motive or the sequence of events leading up to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
