President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has reaffirmed the conglomerate’s commitment to strengthening its supply chain, expanding digital capabilities, and sustaining customer driven growth.

Dangote made this known while addressing stakeholders at the Nascon 2025 Customers Dinner and Awards Night in Abuja, describing the event as a reflection of both the group’s journey and its forward looking strategy.

“As a group president, I have the privilege of overseeing a diversified group operating across multiple markets, brands, and consumer segments. Despite this diversity, our principle unites all our operations. Strong customer partnerships are the foundation of sustainable growth in our group,” he said.

He noted that in recent years, the group has expanded manufacturing capacity, strengthened its brand portfolio, and modernised its distribution and go to market systems. According to him, these milestones were shaped by customer feedback and prevailing market realities.

Dangote acknowledged the role of distributors and trade partners in supporting new product launches and expanding into new territories, especially during periods of economic uncertainty. He said the awards presented at the event recognised excellence and consistency among customers who have contributed to the company’s growth.

Chairman of the Board of NASCON Allied Industries Plc and Dangote Group Vice President, Olakunle Alake, described the dinner as both symbolic and strategic. He stressed that long term growth depends on collaboration rather than transactions, noting that strong distribution networks are critical in an increasingly competitive FMCG environment.

Also speaking, Fatima Aliko Dangote of Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals and Mariya Aliko Dangote of Dangote Industries Limited highlighted the importance of trade partnerships and customer loyalty in driving performance across markets.

Managing Director of NASCON, Aderemi Saka, said the company honoured 50 customers at the event, recognising partners whose growth mirrored that of the company.

Financial results earlier released showed NASCON recorded a profit of N15.6bn for the half year ended June 30, 2025, representing a 222 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024, with revenue rising 55 percent to N78.2bn.
