Socialite and entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest has publicly declared his support for the ruling All Progressives Congress, stating “APC is taking care of me” during the party’s National Convention in Abuja.

Chief Priest is now an active member of the City Boy Movement, championed by Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu. The movement aims to mobilize young Nigerians to support the president’s agenda and promote the Renewed Hope vision across the country.

The involvement of Cubana Chief Priest comes at a time when the City Boy Movement is gaining momentum, with influential figures such as Obi Cubana lending their support to the initiative. His appointment as Imo State Director further underscores his growing influence in Nigerian politics.

During the convention, Chief Priest emphasized the movement’s commitment to President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, warning critics and rivals that they have a choice: “It’s either you join the movement or watch us win. It’s either you win with us or you watch us win.”

His statement reflects the City Boy Movement’s strategy of consolidating youth support for the APC, while signalling that the party is positioning itself strongly ahead of the 2027 elections. Analysts believe that such high-profile endorsements may energize younger voters and reinforce the party’s messaging on progress and continuity.
