Court Adjourns Portable’s Case to March 26 for Charge Consolidation

In a recent development at the Abeokuta Magistrate’s , the case against popular Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as , has been adjourned to 26, 2025. Senior State Counsel, Mr. Timileyin Oredein, argued before the court that proceeding with Portable’s case separately from that of his nine workers would be an inefficient use of judicial resources. Oredein emphasized that the charges against the musician and his employees are closely related, describing them as “sister ” that warrant a unified trial. He urged the court to consolidate the charges to avoid redundancy and expedite the proceedings.
