Chuks Ibegbu, the former spokesperson of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has expressed support for Peter Obi, the ex-presidential candidate of the Labour Party, in his recent political engagements. Commenting on Obi’s visit to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Ibegbu emphasized that Obi has every right to meet with any politician or political group, provided the intent is to advance Nigeria’s well-being. “Peter Obi is free to hold meetings with any political entity as long as it is for the betterment of Nigeria,” he stated in an interview on Thursday.
Ibegbu’s remarks come amid a flurry of political activity, including the notable endorsements of President Bola Tinubu for a second term by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Minister of Works, David Umahi.
