Chelsea Football Club has confirmed a multi-year global partnership with IFS, positioning the advanced artificial intelligence company as its new Principal Partner. The deal will see IFS branding featured on the front of the men’s and women’s team shirts for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

The announcement marks Chelsea’s first permanent principal shirt sponsorship since the end of their deal with Three in 2023. The IFS logo will debut on the men’s kit for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Burnley at Stamford Bridge and on the women’s kit for Sunday’s Women’s Super League fixture against Manchester United.

Chelsea described the partnership as the start of a long-term collaboration aimed at embedding AI across football performance, operational excellence, and fan engagement. IFS, known as a global leader in Industrial AI software, will deploy its AI-driven solutions to enhance precision across the club’s operations. The initiative is expected to improve decision-making, connect people and assets in real time, and sharpen Chelsea’s competitive edge on the pitch while enhancing the supporter experience worldwide.

Chelsea president Jason Gannon emphasized the club’s commitment to innovation. “This partnership is a statement of intent to keep leading in this field, harnessing the opportunities advanced technology brings, and unlocking the power of AI to improve everything we do on and off the pitch,” he said.

IFS CEO Mark Moffat highlighted the alignment of standards and ambition between the two organisations. “In sport as in industry, the margins are small, the stakes are high, and the right decision at the right moment is everything. Chelsea FC holds itself to that same uncompromising standard, and that shared ambition is exactly why we’re proud to be their Principal Partner,” he added.

The partnership signals Chelsea’s intent to remain at the forefront of technological innovation in global football, setting new benchmarks for performance, operational excellence, and fan engagement.
