Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has chosen not to clarify his recent comments suggesting he is not receiving support at the club.

After Saturday’s win over Everton, Maresca described the two days before the game as his “worst 48 hours” at Stamford Bridge. When asked to explain who his remarks were aimed at, he refused to provide further details.

Maresca, who has faced intense scrutiny, appeared visibly impatient with repeated questions about whether his comments targeted the club’s owners or sporting directors.

He said, “I already spoke about that and I don’t have anything to add.”

Asked about the upcoming match against Cardiff, he said, “I think I was quite clear, no more than that.”

When questioned if he was committed to Chelsea, Maresca responded, “Absolutely, yes.”

He acknowledged the media’s opinions but said his focus remains on the next game, where the team aims to reach a third semi-final in 18 months since he joined.

“We are in an era where everyone can say what they think. I respect people’s opinion. I don’t have anything to add. My focus is just on tomorrow,” he said.

Maresca also made it clear that his comments about a lack of support were not directed at the club’s fans, stating, “I said after the game that I love Chelsea supporters. They deserve the best.”

Despite the controversy, Maresca, who is under contract until 2029 with an option to extend for another year, confirmed his happiness and commitment to the club.
