K-pop sensation BTS has officially announced their return after a nearly four-year hiatus, set to release a new album on March 20, 2026. This marks their first full studio album since 2020’s “Be” and follows the 2022 anthology “Proof.” The announcement was made by BigHit Music through a social media message confirming the comeback date.

The hiatus coincided with all seven members—RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook, and j-hope—completing South Korea’s mandatory military service. Suga was the last member to be discharged in June 2025 due to a shoulder injury, having served as a social service agent, while the others completed their military duties in the army.

During their time apart, the group staggered enlistments, allowing members to engage in solo projects. They reunited in July 2025 to collaborate on their upcoming album, which promises to incorporate their individual thoughts and experiences, reflecting the growth and unity they’ve achieved over the years.

Further details regarding the tour and additional album information are expected to be shared soon.

BTS’s return heralds a new chapter for the group, signaling their commitment to reconnecting with fans worldwide through music and shared experiences. The upcoming album and tour are anticipated to be monumental, showcasing their resilience and dedication to their craft.
