Barcelona fans are eagerly awaiting the first El Clasico at the newly renovated Spotify Camp Nou in almost three years, scheduled for May 10, 2026. This match between Barcelona and Real Madrid could be a crucial title decider, given how close the two teams are in the league standings.

Despite being five months away, VIP tickets for the game are already on sale, with prices reaching a staggering €4,000. This amount is exceptionally high compared to other major European stadiums. For example, VIP tickets at Borussia Dortmund, which boasts the largest average attendance in Europe, typically cost between €500 and €800.

The VIP experience at Camp Nou includes premium seating close to the players and the bench, as well as access to an exclusive VIP lounge. However, many feel the price is difficult to justify, even for such a high-profile match.

The May El Clasico is expected to break attendance and revenue records, with Camp Nou able to accommodate over 60,000 spectators. Last season’s El Clasico, held at Montjuic, was the highest-grossing game in Barcelona’s history, generating €13.8 million in total revenue, with VIP sales alone exceeding €4.2 million.
