Paul Ibe, the media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has strongly criticized Daniel Bwala, branding him as someone lacking integrity and shame.
Ibe’s remarks came after Bwala’s recent appointment as a spokesperson for President Bola Tinubu, a role that sparked controversy due to Bwala’s previous affiliation with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and his former position as an aide to Atiku during his presidential campaign.
In a social media post, Ibe accused Bwala of betraying his principles for personal gain, referencing a viral video compilation where Bwala was seen criticizing Tinubu before his appointment.
“Shut up, Daniel Bwala! If you had any iota of shame, you wouldn’t be eating your own vomit. Or is this the case of the hand of Daniel and the voice of Bwala?” Ibe posted on X (formerly Twitter).
He went further to describe Bwala as a “master of conspiracy” and alleged that he had compromised his dignity for selfish reasons. “For the sake of your stomach, you conspired against your own integrity and dignity,” Ibe added.
Ibe also invoked Bwala’s own past statements, where the latter spoke of divine revelations exposing people’s true nature over time. “You are damn right about God exposing humans for who they are in the fullness of time. God has already exposed you as a duplicitous, double–faced infernal traitor and schemer,” he concluded.
Bwala’s appointment has stirred mixed reactions, with many recalling his earlier criticisms of Tinubu during his time with the PDP. While some view his new role as a strategic alignment, others see it as a stark departure from his previously vocal opposition, leading to allegations of hypocrisy and opportunism.
