Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar received a big welcome as he arrived in Yola, Adamawa State. The visit sparked excitement throughout the city, with crowds of supporters, political associates, and family members gathering to greet one of the region’s most respected figures.
Patience Ishaku Abbo, wife of Senator Ishaku Abbo, shared the moment on social media, expressing how proud she was to be part of the welcoming team. She described Atiku as a “father, mentor, and leader” whose influence has guided many, including her family.

Atiku, who holds the traditional title of Waziri of Adamawa, was in town to attend the Founder’s Day event at the American University of Nigeria (AUN) a university he established.
