Governor Alex Otti has praised Hon. Amobi Ogah for his work representing Isuikwuato and Umunneochi Federal Constituency and for supporting local people. The praise came at an event in Uturu to mark Ogah’s two years in office and to hand out empowerment items to residents.

The governor sent Professor Kenneth Kalu, the Secretary to the State Government, to represent him. Otti described the distribution program as one of the biggest community efforts in the area in recent years. He said the items will help families improve their livelihoods and welfare.

Otti commended Ogah for a people focused approach to leadership. He said the state government will keep backing policies and programs that boost the economy and help communities. He added that Ogah has shown public office should be used to improve lives, not for personal gain, and he asked the lawmaker to keep up the good work.

Hon. Ogah said the empowerment drive is part of the UgoAbia Grassroots Movement Initiative and aims to help people become economically independent. He also thanked his constituents and Governor Otti for their support.

Ogah said holding public office is a privilege and not a business. He urged voters to reject vote buying and to support leaders who put transparency and development first.

He also listed several projects already done or in progress. These include work on local roads and other infrastructure, training programs to build skills, and measures to improve security in the area.
