The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has narrated what he described as a “strange” and remarkable testimony of miraculous healing that occurred during one of his evangelical missions outside Nigeria.
Adeboye shared the account while delivering a sermon titled “Brand-New Beginning” at the recent Holy Ghost Convention held at the Redemption Camp in Lagos. In his message, the respected cleric spoke on God’s power to bring complete renewal to human lives, touching on physical, spiritual, and emotional restoration.
To underscore his message, Adeboye referenced biblical examples of divine intervention, including the story of Naaman the leper, who experienced total healing through God’s power. He explained that God’s ability to restore is not partial but complete, often going beyond human logic and understanding.
The 83-year-old preacher then recounted an unusual personal experience involving a woman he encountered during an international assignment. According to him, the woman persistently followed him to his hotel, a situation he admitted left him confused and uneasy at first.
“I met a beautiful lady… I went to the lift. She pursued me to my hotel room. I said God,” Adeboye recalled.
He explained that once inside the room, the situation took a shocking turn when the woman revealed severe marks on her body, which deeply moved him. Adeboye said the sight compelled him to cry out passionately to God in prayer, asking for divine intervention and total healing.
According to the cleric, after the intense prayer session, the woman experienced instant healing, as all the marks on her body disappeared before she left the room. He said the experience reaffirmed his faith in God’s power to completely erase afflictions.
Adeboye concluded the testimony by praying for worshippers and encouraging them to trust in God’s ability to remove every negative influence in their lives and grant them a brand-new beginning, no matter how impossible their situation may seem.
