State pursues GBV case against Ace Ncobo despite ‘girlfriend’ wanting to withdraw

During a court appearance on July 8, 2025, Magistrate Bella Letoaba released Ncobo on a warning, citing the complainant’s withdrawal statement. The matter has been postponed to September 3 for further investigation.

This case is particularly notable given Ncobo’s involvement in initiatives aimed at addressing the root causes of GBV.
