Speaking amid growing speculation about Neymar’s role in the team, Ancelotti made it clear that selection will be strictly based on physical readiness. He noted that the Brazilian star still has time to demonstrate that he can return to peak condition before the tournament.

According to the coach, Neymar has about two months to show he retains the qualities required to compete at the highest level. Ancelotti expressed confidence in the forward’s ability to regain full fitness, adding that his recent performances indicate positive progress.

The Brazilian er has been working his way back after a knee injury, and Ancelotti acknowledged his efforts, highlighting that Neymar has already resumed scoring goals. However, the coach stressed that continued improvement in fitness and consistency will be crucial in the coming weeks.

Ancelotti reiterated his stance that only players who are fully fit will be considered for selection, underlining the importance of physical condition in a tournament as demanding as the World Cup.

Despite concerns over his injury history, Neymar remains a key figure in Brazil’s football history. He is the country’s all time leading scorer, with 79 goals and 59 assists in 128 appearances for the national team.
