At the Enyimba International Stadium, Ikorodu City once again displayed the resilience that has defined their campaign. Joseph Arumala’s 29th minute strike proved decisive as the visitors soaked up sustained pressure to claim all three points. The win takes Ikorodu City to 44 points from 26 matches, extending their lead at the summit.
Enugu Rangers moved into second place with 43 points after a 2 0 victory over Wikki Tourists FC, thanks to first half goals from Wisdom Ebirim and Godwin Obaje. Rivers United FC drop to third on 41 points, though they still have five games in hand following their CAF Champions League campaign.
