Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has etched his name further into the club’s history, becoming the fourth-highest scoring foreign player after netting in a 3-0 win over Caykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

The Nigerian international capped off Galatasaray’s victory by scoring the third goal in the 73rd minute. Earlier, Barış Alper Yılmaz had opened the scoring in the 19th minute, followed by Yunus Akgün doubling the lead for the visitors. Osimhen’s strike brought his goal tally for the club to 52, surpassing former Galatasaray striker Bafétimbi Gomis, who had scored 51 goals.

With this achievement, Osimhen now ranks fourth on Galatasaray’s all-time list of highest-scoring foreign players, trailing only Mauro Icardi (73 goals), Gheorghe Hagi (72 goals), and Milan Baros (61 goals).
