Representatives of the United States and Argentina have signed a strategic framework agreement aimed at bolstering cooperation on critical minerals supply chains, officials said. The cooperation is intended to enhance resilient access to essential resources including lithium, copper, and other materials vital for advanced manufacturing and energy transition technologies.

The framework aims to reduce reliance on dominant global suppliers and foster sustainable economic growth within Argentina’s mining sector.
