India began hosting the Global Seaweed Expo and Summit on January 29 2026 in Kochi Kerala, bringing together international experts policymakers researchers and industry leaders to discuss the growing role of seaweed in food energy climate solutions and coastal livelihoods. The event is scheduled to run through January 30 2026.
