This milestone is set to take effect after the market closes on December 22, 2025, following the annual reconstitution of the Russell U.S. Indexes. CEO Cecil D. The Russell 2000 Index is a key tool for investment managers and institutional investors, serving as a benchmark for index funds and active investment strategies. Membership lasts for one year and is updated annually during the reconstitution process.
