The Governor of Kaduna State has called on residents to persist in praying for peace, progress, and development as the state marks Eid-el-Fitr, signaling the end of Ramadan. In a heartfelt message shared on his verified Facebook page on Saturday evening, he extended warm greetings to the people of Kaduna, emphasizing the occasion as a moment to renew faith and foster unity.
“May this joyous and significant day be an opportunity for us to strengthen our bonds of unity,” he wrote, urging citizens to embrace the spirit of Eid-el-Fitr through acts of charity and generosity. He encouraged sharing food, love, time, and respect with the less fortunate, while keeping the state’s welfare in their thoughts amid challenging times. “As you celebrate with family, friends, and neighbors, please spare a thought for our dear state and pray for continued peace, progress, and development,” he added.
