Supporters of Governor Chukwuma Soludo and members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) from Nteje have called on the governor to heighten development across the state after his recent re-election.

They met at the palace of their traditional ruler‑elect, Chief Chris Nnebo, to celebrate Soludo’s win and to thank voters for their support. The Igwe‑elect told journalists the governor had earned the public’s trust and urged him to keep up and increase his work. He said, “The governor has done well, and that is why the entire Anambra voted him last two weeks.

“Our only charge to him is to maintain the tempo of his works and even step it up to justify the trust that Anambra people have for him which made them to re-elect him. We are also urging him to carry everyone along in his victory.”

We are not just his supporters but members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA,

“I called you here not just for us to celebrate, but to thank you for how hard you fought to ensure that the entire Nteje, which consists of five wards and 63 polling units voted for APGA.”

Chief Chidiebele Obika, Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Media and a Nteje indigene, praised Soludo’s projects in the area and used the chance to press for more road work and other local needs. He told attendees: “We have five political wards in Nteje community, and 63 polling units. “Our brother from neighbouring Umueri community was in the race, and he fought so hard, but Nteje people insisted on voting for APGA, which is Mr Governor’s party. So in thanking them for that, we decided to call our people to the home of our leader, Chief Chris Nnebo, who is the leader of our party in this community, and has also been elected the Igwe, so that we can thank our people.”

Speakers urged the governor to use his second term to include all areas of the state in development plans and to ensure that benefits reach every community.
