Kenny Easley, the legendary safety for the Seattle Seahawks and a Pro Football Hall of Famer, passed away at the age of 66. Renowned for his hard-hitting style and leadership, Easley was a cornerstone of the Seahawks’ defense in the 1980s. Drafted in the first round of the 1981 NFL Draft after an impressive college career at UCLA, where he was a three-time consensus All-American, Easley quickly earned the nickname “The Enforcer” for his aggressive play.

During his seven seasons with Seattle, he recorded 32 interceptions, three of which were returned for touchdowns, and made five Pro Bowl appearances. In 1984, he led the league with ten interceptions and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year, highlighted by three first-team All-Pro selections and a place on the 1980s All-Decade Team. Easley was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017, with the Seahawks retiring his No. 45 jersey that same year and honoring him in their Ring of Honor in 2002.
