On Monday, November 10, 2025, that Alejandro Garnacho joined the growing group of ex-Manchester United players who have rediscovered their best form after leaving the club. The Argentine winger has however experienced a career revival at Chelsea, following similar success stories of Antony and Marcus Rashford, who have both excelled in Spain.
Garnacho’s rise has been remarkably awesome. The 21-year-old started his youth career in Spain with Atlético Madrid and Getafe before moving to Manchester United’s academy, where his speed and creativity quickly made him a fan favorite. He made his senior debut at age 17, against Chelsea — the team he now represents.
Furthermore, If Garnacho maintains his development and delivers consistent performances at Chelsea, a late call-up for the 2026 World Cup could still be on the horizon.
For the time being, his focus is on cementing his role as a central figure in Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea project and proving that his prime is still ahead.
