At least 30 injured after car plows into crowd outside music venue in Los Angeles

Early on Saturday, July 19, 2025, a Nissan Versa drove into a crowd of people waiting to enter the Vermont Hollywood nightclub on Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. The incident resulted in at least 30 injuries, with seven victims in critical condition, six in serious condition, and ten in fair condition.

The vehicle first struck a taco truck and a valet stand before colliding with the crowd. Witnesses reported that the driver was later found to have a gunshot wound, though it remains unclear whether this injury occurred before or after the crash. Bystanders reportedly attacked the driver following the incident.
