In a recent gathering in Ohanze, Obingwa local government area, political stakeholders from Obingwa, Abia State, have commended Erondu Uchenna-Erondu, the Obingwa West representative in the Abia State House of Assembly, for his dedication to fulfilling his campaign promises. Among the prominent figures praising Uchenna-Erondu were Rowland Nwakanma, a former deputy general manager at the state’s Environmental Protection Agency, Ezinwa Abiri, who once served as Obingwa council chairman, and elder statesman Isaac Ogbonna.
The meeting highlighted Uchenna-Erondu’s role as an outstanding leader who has brought tangible benefits to his constituency. Nwakanma noted that only a leader with genuine love and kindness would invest in people during challenging times, as Uchenna-Erondu has done. He expressed gratitude towards Uchenna-Erondu for his role as chairman of the House Committee on Public Service, affirming the community‘s continued support for his political career.
Elder statesman Isaac Ogbonna also praised Uchenna-Erondu for his inclusive empowerment programs that cater to both the young and the elderly, appreciating his dynamic leadership style. Ahamefula Egbulefu, the local Peoples Democratic Party chairman, echoed these sentiments, thanking Uchenna-Erondu for his commitment to his promises and describing him as a “rare gem” with a deep understanding of his constituents’ needs.
Chidiebere Ihenyirimadu, the director general of Uchenna-Erondu’s Igodo Igwe Campaign Council, added that Uchenna-Erondu has performed exceptionally well in his 19 months in office.
In response to the praise, Uchenna-Erondu expressed his gratitude for the support from the stakeholders and pledged to continue leveraging every opportunity to bring more democratic dividends to Obingwa West. He also emphasized the unique commitment of the Peoples Democratic Party to the interests of both the constituency and its people.
