Serie A side AS Roma has become the latest club to show interest in securing the services of Nottingham Forest’s defender, Ola Aina. According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma has already initiated contact with Aina’s representatives to explore the possibility of a transfer.

Aina’s current contract with Nottingham Forest is set to expire in six months, making him an attractive prospect for clubs looking to bolster their squad without a hefty transfer fee.

The Nigerian international has not gone unnoticed by other clubs either; both Manchester City, the current Premier League champions, and Turkish giants Galatasaray have expressed interest in the versatile defender.

Aina’s performances this season have been nothing short of stellar, having started in all 20 of Forest’s league matches. His contributions were particularly recognized in December when he was voted Nottingham Forest’s Player of the Month and also clinched the Goal of the Month award, highlighting his significant impact on the team’s performances.
