President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom. The president arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja on Saturday evening.
Upon his arrival, Tinubu was welcomed by several key figures, including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun. Also present were Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, among other dignitaries.
Tinubu’s return comes at a time when Nigeria faces several pressing issues, including economic reforms and security challenges. His presence is expected to rejuvenate government activities and provide direction for his administration‘s ongoing projects.
The president’s vacation was viewed by many as an opportunity for him to rest and recharge before tackling the demands of the presidency.
